dog going to the bathroom frequently

A friend has a lab-mix - about 10 - who's been going to the bathroom in the house a lot, and needs walks far more than usual. Is this simply related to aging, or could something else be going on? Any natural remedies she could try? Thanks.

Hi, an increase in needing to pee can be a sign of some kidney problems, bladder stones, a urinary tract infection or Diabetes. I would recommend a vet visit and some blood work with a urinalysis to find out exactly what is going on. There are many treatments available and you may be able to use a natural remedy if she has one of these problems but you need to know what to treat for.
