Which dog breeds slobber a lot?

I'm interested to know which dogs slobber a lot. Also, are there big variations within the breed?

I may be lucky but I have 4-year-old Boxer and the only slobbering issues we have are when he drinks. No, not beer. He just gets excited, drinks too fast and begins to create bubbles in the corner of his mouth. The Black Lab next door actually slobbers a lot more than our Boxer. But again, we may just be lucky.

I remember knowing a Basset that seemed to slobbery constantly. It was if he had a mouthful of saliva at all times. It even seemed to get on his ears. Of course all dogs do slobber - I think. Anyways, my old lab didn't slobber too often - except when she knew she was going to get a piece of banana.
Love me, love my dog.

Newfoundlands, Saint Bernards, Great Pyrenees and Boxers are at the top of the list. All breeds slobber to some degree. Some are just tidier about eating, drinking and drooling than others.

I have heard that bull dogs tend to have poor control over there salivary glands. Actually, I think that many breeds slobber when it gets close to supper time.

My friend has a boxer that will not stop slobbering.
