i am going to neuter my 4 year old pitbull on tuesday and i am curious weather or not this will stop him from marking his territory in the house, his need to wander and his aggressive behavior twards other male dogs

Have you had your dog nuetered yet? Just curious if it actually helped prevent him from markinking his territory and aggressive behavioir.
Cora, you will certainly be off to the best start, but neutering will not solve all his issues. The testosterone will not disappear overnight but will subside over time. He will probably always want to mark territory, at this point it is a habit. He will most likely give up on it inside the house. The roaming will subside over time as well but again not right away.
I would also recommend some formal obedience classes to help with the aggression and social interactions. It will also give you a chance to spend quality time with him and enforce your postion as the alpha being in your house. Good luck!
