eating issue

Just wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions for a german shepard who is 12 1/2. We were told that she needs a high protein diet. Any suggestions on what to feed her?

Jules, before making any major diet changes on your older dog, please check with your vet. If you have not had any bloodwork done in the last 3 to 6 months, it is a good idea to have a CBC and Chemistry panel done to see if a higher protein diet would be ok for your dog. A 12 and 1/2 year old German Shepherd is very impressive, keep up the good work!
