Overview
Today’s American Pit Bull (sometimes spelled Pitbull) Terriers (APBTs) are descended from the ancient bulldog and terrier crosses used in the blood sports of England centuries ago. Many of today’s APBTs are mixes of many different breeds, including Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bulldogs, and more.
