8 to 10 years

Temperament

The Rottweiler is serious, calm rather than active, more protective than aggressive, and devoted to her home and family.

Activity level

The Rottie will enjoy long walks, a chance to play, and a game of fetch every day. She will also enjoy a chance to sleep in the sun.

All Rotties need training. This is a powerful, intelligent dog who needs a leader and if the owner doesn't assume that leadership position, the dog will and that's never good.
